John and Vanessa begin their journey in February with the HYMER Grand Canyon S 700 – their destination: sunny Andalusia. The route leads through impressive landscapes and picturesque towns, promising unforgettable impressions and diverse experiences right from the start.
John and Vanessa's journey begins in the early morning hours in Stuttgart. They make it to northern Spain in one fell swoop. Their destination is the Bardenas Reales desert region, where a nature-oriented campsite near Tudela provides the perfect base for the first three nights.
The unique desert landscape provides an impressive introduction to their adventure. With temperatures between 18 and 23 degrees Celsius, the two enjoy the contrast to their wintery homeland.
After a stay in Bardenas Reales, we continue towards the Mediterranean coast: Valencia is calling. The city surprises with its rich art scene, impressive architecture, and lively old town.
The journey continues along the southeast coast of Spain, passing picturesque sandy beaches and impressive stretches of coastline.
A highlight is a visit to Playa de los Muertos. Camper life is surprisingly lively: numerous winterers from Germany also spend the cold months here, enjoying the sunny days and mild climate to the fullest. Another highlight is the sunset at Faro de Cabo de Gata, with breathtaking views right by the sea.
Opening the camper door in the morning and immediately seeing the sea or the mountains – these are the moments that make traveling special for us.
A brief stop at Playa de los Bajos brings palm trees, sun, and sea into harmony – the perfect backdrop for impressive photos with the HYMER Grand Canyon S 700. The route then leads to the Tabernas desert region, known as a filming location for many Western movies.
On unpaved tracks, the journey becomes a true off-road experience for Vanessa and John in the Gorafe Desert. The Grand Canyon S 700 masters the route with ease, impressing with its off-road capability and ride comfort.

After their impressions of Granada and Frigiliana, John and Vanessa's journey continues to the coast – to Málaga.
The city captivates with its unique flair – a blend of well-preserved Moorish history, modern influences, and palm-lined streets that create a true holiday feeling.
The diverse cuisine, combined with historical and modern influences, makes a stay in Málaga an unforgettable experience.
The journey ends at Cala de la Roche – a beautiful beach, ideal for a final sunset by the sea. Early the next morning, a special route is planned: a road that leads through a dune at the southernmost tip of Spain. On a clear day, the mountain ranges of Africa appear on the horizon. This view is a striking natural experience that will stay with you for a long time.
After a final relaxing day at the beach, the return journey begins via Seville and along the east coast of Spain back to Germany.
