The swivelling bathroom: flexibility and comfort in a small space
For the 2025 model year, Carado introduced the swivelling bathroom in the CV600 pro+ and CV640 pro+ models. Thanks to a movable wall, the space can be divided flexibly, transforming the bathroom into a generous shower within just a few seconds.

“The swivelling bathroom is a prime example of our philosophy of making the best possible use of space in a camper van without compromising on comfort,” explains Rainer Wingart, Product Manager at Carado.

This solution offers several advantages for travellers:

1. Space optimisation: The swivelling bathroom creates more freedom of movement without requiring additional space. It is ideal for compact models.
2. Comfort: The shower area feels larger – an advantage for long journeys or trips off the beaten track.
3. Protection against splashing water: The movable wall keeps most of the bathroom dry, making the time spent in the bathroom noticeably more comfortable. It also eliminates the need to dry the shower curtain.
4. Easy handling: The mechanism of the swivelling bathroom is intuitive and allows fast and uncomplicated use.

Wingart adds: “This makes comfortable showering possible on the road, even in a small space.”

Smart sleeping solutions: Why lengthwise single beds are an efficient option even in camper vans
Carado also introduces new solutions in the area of sleeping arrangements. The layout of the CV602 optimises the use of space. The model adopts the compact elements of the CV540 and thereby creates room for lengthwise single beds in the rear – a layout previously reserved mainly for larger models.

Specifically, this arrangement provides:

1. Space optimisation: More freedom of movement while offering storage space underneath – ideal for luggage and personal equipment.
2. Comfort: The generously sized beds offer a comfortable sleeping surface, ensuring restful sleep even on long journeys.
3. Extended sleeping options: For families or groups, Carado offers an optional pop-up roof that provides two additional sleeping berths.

Rainer Wingart summarises: “With a vehicle length of just 599 cm, the CV602 offers a comfortable sense of space despite its compactness, adapting flexibly to the needs of its users.”
